What are the explosion-proof types of explosion-proof lamps

Time:2024-01-03 Views:0

Explosion proof lamp is a type of explosion-proof electrical appliance, which refers to lighting fixtures with explosion-proof functions. There are many types of explosion-proof lamps, mainly divided into the following five types:

1. Explosion proof type

This explosion-proof lamp can completely seal equipment that may ignite dangerous gases or dust with flammable and explosive materials inside the shell of the explosion-proof lamp. At the same time, the shell of the explosion-proof lamp can withstand the penetration of dangerous gases or dust into the shell without damage or explosion, and will not cause any external danger.

2. Increased safety type

It is to enhance the safety of explosion-proof lamps from their own equipment, such as sealing the connection of the lamp housing, temperature control of explosion-proof lamps, high-quality insulation materials on the housing, and various means such as not producing electric sparks for ignition under normal use conditions to achieve explosion-proof effects.

3. Dust type

In some special production sites, dust clouds or mist may be generated during production. When the dust concentration reaches a certain level of danger, dust type explosion-proof lamps must be used in such environments. These explosion-proof lamps can completely isolate dust from the outside of the explosion-proof lamp, so that the arc or telephone flower of the products inside the lamp cannot come into contact with the outside dust, thus isolating the danger.

4. Spark free type

This type of lighting fixture refers to a lamp that does not produce electric sparks or arcs under normal working conditions, and directly eliminates the occurrence of danger from the source of the working principle of explosion-proof lamps.

5. Positive pressure type

It refers to injecting high-pressure gas into the interior of a lamp, so that the internal pressure is higher than the external pressure, and external gas cannot enter the interior of the lamp, thereby playing an explosion-proof role.
