the Classification characteristics of high bay lights

Time:2021-11-09 Views:0

Local lighting is a kind of lamps that improve the illuminance of a certain working part. Its function can be to strengthen and supplement the lighting on the basis of general lighting, or it can be used as temporary lighting in some places that do not need lighting at ordinary times (such as equipment maintenance and maintenance places). Most of their light distribution is not strictly defined. Local lighting lamps are usually installed around the work area, using incandescent lamps and tungsten halogen lamps with safety extra-low voltage ≤50V, AC effective value) as the light source. There are (hand-held) running lights, hanging lights, work desk lights, machine tool work lights, etc. In some tall factories, spotlights are sometimes used for local lighting.

General lighting lamps are usually evenly arranged on the upper part of the work site or on the side walls to illuminate the entire work surface. It is necessary to use high-power incandescent lamps, tungsten halogen lamps, high-intensity gas discharge lamps or a large number of fluorescent lamps. Most of the industrial and mining lamps belong to this category. General lighting lamps have higher requirements for light distribution, and two types of light distribution, direct lighting and semi-direct lighting, are widely used, especially the latter. In the semi-direct lighting type, the upward light from a department illuminates the ceiling, which can increase the brightness of the ceiling and create a more comfortable and brighter environment.

In order to work long-term and reliably in places with poor environmental conditions such as dusty and humid conditions, high bay lights have special requirements in terms of structural design, housing and reflectors. Closed lamps or convection lamps with upward luminous flux should be used in dusty environments; attention should be paid to the airtightness of the enclosure and the surface treatment of reflectors in humid environments; open lamps are commonly used indoors, using enamel surface reflectors and surface oxidation The aluminum reflector with thick aluminum film or coated with silicon dioxide protective film; considering the inevitable shock in the production site, the fixed light source should adopt the anti-loosing lamp holder, etc.
