Technical requirements for explosion-proof distribution boxes

Time:2023-12-14 Views:0

Explosion proof distribution boxes are suitable for applications such as explosion-proof power distribution boxes and explosion-proof lighting distribution boxes. The explosion-proof distribution box products adopt a composite structure, the switch box adopts an explosion-proof structure, and the busbar box and outlet box adopt an increased safety structure. Cast aluminum alloy shell, equipped with high analysis small circuit breaker, with overload and short circuit protection function, and can add leakage protection and other functions according to requirements. Modular structure, various circuits can be freely selected and combined. Special requirements can be customized, including steel pipes or cable wiring.

technical requirement

1. All electrical components inside the distribution box and cabinet meet the international standards of IEC309-1 and IEC309-2, as well as DINEN60309 and CEE17, as well as GB11918-2001 and GB11199-2001 standards. The electrical switches use ABB products, the terminals use Phoenix products, and the sockets use Tengyang explosion-proof products.

2. The structure of all distribution boxes, installation of electrical components, and layout of circuits must be safe and reliable, easy to operate, and easy to maintain.

3. The distribution box should be equipped with a lock and key.

4. The distribution box adopts lower incoming and outgoing lines, and has tapping holes. The size of the tapping holes is determined according to the cable model in the drawing, and is equipped with a sufficient number of rubber gaskets.

5. The protection level of the distribution box box is IP55 (acid proof, anti-corrosion, and waterproof).

6. The distribution box adopts a stainless steel box body (made of Baosteel 304 or above), with a natural color of stainless steel and a thickness of no less than 2.0mm

7. The operating switches, instruments, and sockets should be arranged on the front panel of the box/cabinet for easy operation; The shell and partition of the socket box, including the locking device of the door and the socket components, should have sufficient mechanical strength to withstand external forces encountered during normal use; Anti corrosion measures should be taken to adapt to various environments in the factory building.

8. The busbar should be made of copper, and the wires from the busbar to each outgoing terminal and socket should be made of copper wire. The terminals of the internal and external conductors in the box, cabinet, and screen must meet the normal working current. The current carrying capacity of the copper busbar should be more than 1.5 times the rated current, and it should be able to withstand a short-circuit withstand current not lower than that of the electrical components inside the cabinet. There should be enough effective space left in the box for wiring.
