Precautions for using LED explosion-proof lights

Time:2024-01-03 Views:0

1. Before closing the cover, use a damp cloth (not too wet) to gently wipe the backlight and transparent parts of the lamp to improve its light efficiency. A thin layer of 204-1 displacement type rust proof oil should be applied to the explosion-proof joint surface. When closing the cover, attention should be paid to whether the sealing ring has a sealing effect in its original position.

2. After opening the cover, it is necessary to check whether the explosion-proof joint surface is intact, whether the rubber seal has become hard or sticky, whether the insulation layer of the wire has turned green and carbonized, and whether the insulation and electrical components have deformation and burnt marks. If these problems are found, they should be repaired and replaced in a timely manner.

3. If the light source is damaged, the lights should be turned off in a timely manner and replacement should be notified to avoid the ballast and other electrical components being in an abnormal state for a long time due to the inability of the light source to start.

4. If there is water accumulation in the lamp chamber of a lamp used in a humid environment, it should be promptly removed, and the sealing components should be replaced to ensure the protective performance of the shell.

5. When opening the lampshade, follow the warning signs and disconnect the power before opening the cover.

6. Check for any traces of foreign object impact on the transparent parts and for any looseness, detachment, corrosion, etc. on the protective mesh. If any, it should be stopped from use and repaired and replaced in a timely manner.

7. Regularly eliminate dust and dirt on the shell of explosion-proof lighting fixtures to improve their light efficiency and heat dissipation performance. The cleaning method can be based on the protective ability of the lamp housing, using water spray or wiping with a damp cloth. When cleaning with water spray, the power should be cut off, and it is strictly prohibited to use a dry cloth to wipe the plastic shell (transparent part) of the lamp to prevent static electricity.

8. The sealed part of the lamp should not be frequently disassembled and opened.
