Many customers, when they have not been exposed to the explosion-proof industry or explosion-proof products, usually refer to their imagination or general low-voltage complete sets, believing that they should be one way or another. Regarding the specific differences between explosion-proof boxes and cabinets:


We generally assume that explosion-proof boxes are made of aluminum alloy shells, which are called boxes. Of course, there are other materials, such as 304, Q235, etc. Explosion proof boxes made of aluminum alloy materials can be formed by die casting with molds, or in special cases, they can be artificially sandblasted. So the size of the shell is greatly limited. The regular sizes are 300 * 200, 300 * 300, 400 * 300, 500 * 400, and 600 * 500. The height is generally between 150-160. Alternatively, the height of the lid can be between 250 and 260. The size of the shell is limited, which limits the number of components in our shell. In general, explosion-proof boxes in the explosion-proof industry adopt a multi assembly type, and the number and size of openings on the surface of an explosion-proof box are also limited. Many people often instill the idea of low-voltage complete sets into explosion-proof boxes, which are all distribution boxes with all connections, but separated by rows and mountains. If that's the case, why is it that if the user spends such a high price to make an explosion-proof box, then it won't be explosion-proof anymore.


The shell of the explosion-proof cabinet is generally Q235 (welded with steel plate), which is particularly humid or has strong acid-base corrosion. 304 (stainless steel) explosion-proof and anti-corrosion cabinet is used. The explosion-proof cabinet adopts manual steel plate welding, which solves the shortcomings of the aluminum alloy shell. The size of the shell, the size and quantity of the outlet are not limited. But the only drawback is that the explosion-proof cabinet welded with steel plates is bulky.
