Installation and maintenance of explosion-proof LED lights

Time:2023-12-22 Views:0

Before installation, explosion-proof lamps should be checked from the nameplate and product manual: explosion-proof type, category, level, and group; The protection level of the casing; Installation method and requirements for fasteners used for installation. The installation of explosion-proof lamps should ensure firm fixation, and the fastening bolts should not be replaced arbitrarily. The spring washers should be complete. The sealing rings for dust and water prevention should be installed in their original state. At the cable entry point, the cable should be tightly matched with the sealing gasket. The cross-section of the cable should be circular, and there should be no defects such as unevenness on the surface of the sheath. The excess inlet must be sealed according to the explosion-proof type, coated with 201 replacement anti rust oil, and the compression nut tightened to seal the inlet. LED explosion-proof lamps should use anti fall rings in areas with strong vibrations to prevent the lamps from falling off.

matters needing attention

1. Regularly eliminate dust and dirt on the shell of explosion-proof lighting fixtures to improve their light efficiency and heat dissipation performance. The cleaning method can be based on the protective ability of the lamp housing, using water spray (indicated above the shade on the lamp) or wiping with a damp cloth. When cleaning with water spray, the power should be cut off, and it is strictly prohibited to use a dry cloth to wipe the plastic shell (transparent part) of the lamp to prevent static electricity.

2. Check if there are any traces of foreign object impact on the transparent parts, and if the protective net is loose, detached, corroded, etc. If any, it should be stopped from use and repaired and replaced in a timely manner.

3. If the light source is damaged, the lights should be turned off in a timely manner and replacement should be notified to prevent the ballast and other electrical components from being in an abnormal state for a long time due to the inability of the light source to start.

4. If there is water accumulation in the lamp chamber of a lamp used in a humid environment, it should be promptly removed, and the sealing components should be replaced to ensure the protective performance of the shell.

When opening the lampshade, follow the warning sign requirements, cut off the power and open the cover.

6. After opening the cover, it is necessary to check whether the explosion-proof joint surface is intact, whether the rubber seal has become hard or sticky, whether the insulation layer of the wire has turned green and carbonized, and whether the insulation and electrical components have deformation and burnt marks. If these problems are found, they should be repaired and replaced in a timely manner.

7. Before closing the cover, use a damp cloth (not too wet) to gently wipe the backlight and transparent parts of the lamp to improve its light efficiency. A thin layer of 204-1 displacement type rust proof oil should be applied to the explosion-proof joint surface. When closing the cover, attention should be paid to whether the sealing ring has a sealing effect in its original position.

8. The sealed part of the lamp should not be frequently disassembled and opened. Patent area road sealing technology; More in line with the new national explosion-proof technology.
