What are the differences between explosion-proof lights and tri-proof lights
Datetime: 2021-04-15 14:31:17
Three-proof lamp refers to waterproof,
dust-proof and anti-corrosion. Explosion-proof lamp means no sparks. Some
explosion-proof lamps include three-proof, but three-proof lamp does not
include explosion-proof. To know the difference between explosion-proof lights
and tri-proof lights, we must know their respective definitions.
Explosion-proof lamp definition:
Explosion-proof lamp refers to a lamp used in dangerous places where
flammable gas and dust exist, and can prevent the arc, spark and high temperature
that may be generated inside the lamp from igniting the flammable gas and dust
in the surrounding environment, so as to meet the requirements of
explosion-proof. Also known as explosion-proof lamps, explosion-proof lighting.
Different flammable gas mixture environments have different requirements for
the explosion-proof grade and explosion-proof form of the explosion-proof lamp.
Refer to GB3836 and IEC60079 for details.
1. Applicable to hazardous locations in zone 1 and zone 2 of
explosive gas environment;
2. Suitable for IIA, IIB, IIC level explosive gas environment;
3. Suitable for areas 20, 21, and 22 of combustible dust
environment;
4. It is suitable for the environment where the temperature group is
T1—T6.
Three-proof light definition:
Three-proof lamp refers to the three-proof: waterproof, dustproof,
and anti-corrosion. Special anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion materials and
silica gel sealing ring are used to achieve the protection requirements of
lamps. This lamp carries out anti-corrosion, waterproof, and anti-oxidation
treatments on the circuit control board. Aiming at the characteristics of the
weak heat dissipation capacity of the electrical box seal, the special working
circuit for the intelligent temperature control three-proof lamp reduces the
working temperature of the power inverter and isolates the protection circuit
from strong electricity. The double insulation treatment of the connector
ensures the safety and reliability of the circuit. According to the actual
working environment of the three-proof lamp, the surface of the lamp protective
box is treated with nano-sprayed moisture-proof and anti-corrosion treatment to
prevent the entry of dust and moisture.
Three-proof lights are generally used in places where industrial
lighting needs are more corrosive, dusty, and rainy, such as: power plants,
steel, petrochemicals, ships, venues, parking lots, basements, etc.
